To further positive change and aliveness in individuals, couples, and organizations for the sake of abundance for all life.
“Other animals, in a constant and mostly unmediated relation with their sensory surroundings, think with the whole of their bodies.” ― David Abram, Becoming Animal: An Earthly Cosmology
Ecosomatic transformation is an approach that includes a somatic process of embodied change with the principles of deep ecology to produce deep satisfaction and fulfillment in individuals, couples, families, communities and organizations. Ecosomatics connects deeply to the essence of values, morals, ethics and standards to the extent that those values can be lived and embodied. This means that the actions, habits, and practices of individuals and organizations as a whole are aligned, lived, and expressed by how individuals relate and care for each other and how important decisions are made.

“nothing in this world was more difficult than love.” ― Gabriel García Márquez
The Art and Mastery of Long-Lasting Relationships is the ground of our relationship offers. Having been in relationship since 1978, and doing intense individual and couples work since 1990, my partner, Madeline, and I have learned what makes a long-lasting relationship work. Having been teaching and coaching since 1998, we have developed a successful somatically-based process to support people in relationships to have the skills and practices necessary to live together their whole lives.
“You're alive only once, as far as we know, and what could be worse than getting to the end of your life and realizing you hadn't lived it?” – Edward Albee
“Embrace each challenge in your life as an opportunity for self-transformation.” ― Bernie Siegel
Ecosomatic coaching for individuals is a somatically based coaching process offering sustainably, fundamental change in the places we limit ourselves both personally and professionally. Should you decide Ecosomatic coaching is for you, we look at how historical experiences define you. This reveals how one’s history organizes us as a possibility and success, and how our history has also produced our limitations. The realization of a new future happens by redefining and reshaping ourselves somatically, loosening the grip of the past, learning how to manage limitations, getting control over our automatic limiting reactions, and patterning in new behaviors and habit.
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” – Howard Thurman
“A great relationship has great communication. That means knowing how to effectively express yourself and how to listen properly.” ― Stephen Labossiere
Ecosomatic relationship coaching is a process of personal development and responsibility, and skillful living practices for couples related to communication, conflict, power, commitment, trust, and play. It begins with an understanding of what each individual brings to the relationship, both useful and limiting; and, the reshaping is directly related to the wants and desires of both people. This process lives in the container of the “nature” of the relationship, and in the creation, awakening, and enlivening of an aware, awake, and alive generative relationship.
“We are never more fully alive, more completely ourselves, or more deeply engrossed in anything than when we are playing.” – Charles Schaefer
“A coach is someone who tells you what you don't want to hear, who has you see what you don't want to see, so you can be who you have always known you could be." ― Tom Landry
Coaching has been recognized as an invaluable process for individual, relational, and organizational change. It has been repeatedly proven that coaching has more value for individuals than building technical skills. Having been coaching people since 1997, I have constantly honed and tuned my own skill of coaching. Having spent years coaching and training coaches particularly in using a somatic orientation, I offer to support coaches in taking their coaching skills to the next level.
“Try as much as possible to be wholly alive, with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell and when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough.” – William Saroyan
“Culture trumps strategy every time” – Peter Drucker
Ecosomatic organizational development puts in place purposefully chosen individual, organization, and cultural practices that will produce systemic, sustainable change. It is an investment in people and organizational cultures, experiential in nature that creates the balance between being and doing. For those looking to explicitly heighten attention to and embody the practices of blending daily operations, coordination, and team inclusion with a deepened meaning and embodiment of triple bottom line and a connection to the natural world, the Ecosomatic organizational development orientation will provide these outcomes.
